Stock Market Predictions
So apparently the U.K. is getting ready for a General Election and things are getting pretty spicy. Analysts are saying that if the Labour Party wins the stock markets might do a little happy dance. It seems like Labour wins make the markets go up by about 6% while Conservative victories make them drop by 5%. It's like betting on red or black at the casino only with stocks instead of chips. Pretty sweet deal I must say.
Fiscal Fight
Ah the good ol' fiscal fight. The Labour Party is all about fiscal discipline these days. They're trying to cozy up to the bigwigs and show how responsible they can be with the national debt. Maybe they've been taking lessons from Cartman's "Business Time" shenanigans. But hey at least they're trying to look good in the eyes of the money folks right?
Sterling Outlook
The pound the almighty sterling! According to the experts the British pound has had its fair share of ups and downs under Labour governments. But hey who hasn't? The good news is that no matter who wins the election it looks like the interest rates will play a bigger role in deciding the pound's fate. So maybe keep an eye on those rates folks!
