Oh China You Need to Calm Down
So I heard U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin expressed concern over China's naval activity in the Taiwan Strait. I mean it's all fun and games until someone brings up 'coercive measures,' am I right?

Austin reiterated the U.S.'s commitment to the 'one China' policy. I wonder if they played my songs during the meeting to set the mood. I suggest "Shake it Off" for some relaxation.
Walking Out Like We Never Go Out of Style
CNBC saw the two delegations leaving the meeting venue but both Austin and Dong were tight lipped. Maybe they were discussing the best karaoke songs after the diplomatic talks. I bet 'Blank Space' would be a hit.
More Communication Please!
The Chinese defense ministry spokesperson Wu Qian emphasized the need for more communication between the U.S. and China on Taiwan. I always say 'Communication is key,' just like in my albums.
North Korea Drama and Russian War Featured in Friday's Show
Austin and Dong also talked about North Korea's antics and their role in Russia's war in Ukraine. Sounds like a messy plot line if you ask me. Where's Olivia Benson when you need her?
From Video Calls to In Person Meetings it's all Aboard the Diplomatic Carousel
From video teleconferences in April to in person meetings in Singapore the U.S. and China are really going all out. Who knew Diplomacy could be such a rollercoaster ride? Maybe I should write a song about it.
