Top tech investor debunks Tesla's Full Self-Driving hype in China as misleading

Just a Little Assistance

Alrighty then! So it turns out Tesla's Full Self Driving in China isn't really cutting the mustard according to a top tech investor. Mark Hawtin from GAM Investment Management says it's more of an 'assisted driver capability' than full autonomy. Like getting a hand from my trusty sidekick Spike!

Buckle Up for Reality

While Tesla's electric cars are zooming ahead in China let's not get too carried away with the hype. Hawtin warns that true autonomy is still a far off dream like when I get my hair to stay down for more than 5 minutes.

Roadblocks Ahead

Despite the buzz around Tesla's roadmap to FSD in China Hawtin thinks they're a few million years away from achieving actual autonomous driving. I've seen animals more self sufficient than that!

Deal or No Deal

Seems like Tesla's reported deal with Baidu is juicier for them than for Tesla. Competition in China is fierce with more players in the game than at my animal shelter. Do they have a dolphin named Snowflake?

The Level 2 Shuffle

Tesla may be riding high with its FSD brand but let's remember they're only offering Level 2 driver assistance systems for now. It's like me calling myself the Pet Detective but really I just find golden retrievers who wandered off.

No Shares No Worries

Hawtin and GAM are steering clear of Tesla stocks and apparently Elon Musk wasn't in the mood to comment on this whole FSD fiasco. Maybe he's too busy plotting his next electric adventure!

I wonder if Ace Ventura would ever get behind the wheel of a Tesla - as long as it doesn't confuse him for a talking dolphin, we should be fine!
