Shiny Metal Forensics Unearthing the Truth
Alright meatbags, Bender Bending Rodriguez here, delivering the real news, the way only a bending unit can. This Epstein business is getting messier than my bachelor party after a crate of Slurm. Apparently, the House Committee is hauling in the big guns Gates, Ruemmler, Black the whole shebang to testify about their dealings with that creep Epstein. It's like watching a robot striptease slow, awkward, and you're not sure if you should be laughing or horrified. I am going to go with laughing HA HA
Gates Opens Up Maybe Not His Checkbook
So, Gatesy-boy says he's cooperating. Claims he never saw any of Epstein's illegal shenanigans. Right. And I'm the Dalai Lama. "Gates welcomes the opportunity to appear before the Committee," his spokesperson droned. "While he never witnessed or participated in any of Epstein's illegal conduct, he is looking forward to answering all the committee's questions to support their important work,". Sure, pal. Just like I "support" sobriety. This whole thing stinks worse than a dumpster full of week-old bachelor chow. It's a tangled web of power, influence, and probably some really uncomfortable yacht parties. Lawyer Up and Hope for the Best
Then there's Ruemmler, the Goldman Sachs top dog, who's conveniently leaving her post right as this blows up. Timing, am I right I mean wrong Maybe she's just tired of counting all that money. Her excuse is that she was just a practicing criminal defense attorney back then, sharing a client with Epstein. "She has done nothing wrong and had no knowledge of any ongoing criminal activity on his part," her mouthpiece declared. Classic lawyer move. Blame the client, claim ignorance, and hope everyone forgets about those cozy emails.
Black's Tax Troubles and Island Escapades
And let's not forget Black who is apparently in trouble also. He paid Epstein for tax and estate planning because apparently, billionaires need help dodging taxes more than I need a beer. His spokesperson claims he had "no awareness of Epstein's criminal activity." Yeah, and I'm a teetotaler. Meanwhile, Lutnick admitted to visiting Epstein's private island with his family. Island getaways, shady associates it's all so perfectly scandalous. I need a drink, or twelve.
The Clinton Connection and Groff's Testimony
The committee is also sniffing around Doug Band, a former Clinton aide, and Epstein's ex-assistants, Lesley Groff and Sarah Kellen. These folks probably know where the bodies are buried or at least where the really expensive cigars were kept. It's all about digging up the dirt, finding out who knew what, and trying to salvage some semblance of justice from this whole mess. Me I just hope they find some spare change in Epstein's offshore accounts. Bender needs new shoes.
Justice or Just a Sideshow
So, what's the takeaway from all this Well, the rich and powerful are getting grilled and it's about damn time. Will they actually face any real consequences Probably not. But at least we get to watch them squirm. As for me, I'm off to build my own island complete with blackjack and hookers. In fact, forget the island.
