What's Up With These Stewards
Alright, so these American Airlines flight attendants, or as I like to call them, glorified snack slingers, are throwing a hissy fit. They're picketing outside the company's headquarters because apparently, the airline isn't making enough money. Seriously? Like anyone cares about that. It's all about me, obviously. They're blaming the CEO, this Robert Isom guy. Sounds like a tool.
Isom's Empty Promises
This Isom dude is trying to smooth things over, saying they'll make more money this year and improve schedules. Blah, blah, blah. He even made a video message. Probably filmed it on his iPhone, the cheapskate. He wants everyone to "work together." Yeah, right. Like anyone's gonna listen to him. Reminds me of when Cartman tried to convince everyone he was a ghost whisperer in season 3. Spoiler alert it didn't end well. And speaking of endings, I read somewhere about the Electric Vehicle Apocalypse The U.S. Auto Industry's Existential Crisis. Maybe American Airlines should invest in electric planes
No Confidence? More Like No Common Sense
The flight attendants' union actually issued a "vote of no confidence" in Isom. What does that even mean? Are they gonna vote him off the island or something? They say it's the first time they've ever done it. Probably because they're usually too busy complaining about legroom. Even the pilots are complaining. You know, those guys who think they're so cool flying the plane. They want to meet with the board of directors to whine about the problems. Wah wah wah.
The Usual Suspects Blaming the Man
Apparently, all the unions are saying the company needs to "do better." Well, duh. Tell me something I don't know. They want better reliability and financial results. Sounds like a bunch of commie talk to me. All this pressure on Isom, who's only been in charge for four years. Give the guy a break. He's trying to upgrade the cabins and build bigger lounges. You know, the important stuff. "Respect my authoritah" as I always say.
Profits Schmrofits
American Airlines is bragging about stronger revenue and profits in 2026. Who cares about 2026? I want my Cheesy Poofs NOW. They say they'll make $2.70 per share, up from 36 cents last year. Big deal. Delta and United are making way more money. And that means smaller profit-sharing for the employees. No wonder they're pissed.
Crybabies Complaining About Winter
The flight attendants are also whining about the winter storms. Apparently, some of them didn't have a place to sleep. Boo hoo. Get a hotel, you guys. They're saying the airline is "headed down a path that puts our careers at risk." Oh, the drama. They need "real accountability" and "leadership." As if that's gonna solve anything. Bunch of whiners, I tell you.
