Disney CEO discusses minority partners, potential sales, and ESPN's evolving strategy

Ogres and CEOs

In his first public comments since Disney gave him the boot Bob Chapek has spoken out about ESPN's future mentioning he doesn't see the point in adding another minority partner. Now that's what I call 'ogre' confidence!

Dragon sized Drama

Chapek's stance is in contrast to former Disney bigwig Bob Iger who was open to selling a stake in ESPN. Looks like these two were in a 'swamp' of disagreement!

Donkey Doings

Chapek also hinted at the possibility of bringing on a partner to raise cash for buying out Comcast's Hulu stake. Looks like he's trying to 'cash' in on the situation!

Fairy Tale Ending?

Chapek envisions ESPN as a 'central clearinghouse' for sports streaming guiding viewers to games no matter where they're aired. Sounds like he wants to make ESPN the 'Fiona' of sports networks!

Sure, Bob Chapek can talk about ESPN, but can he talk to donkeys like Shrek?
