Oh the Leaks We Will Find
Ah the joys of space exploration! Boeing and NASA are playing a fun game of 'find the leak' as they freak out about a 'stable' leak in the Starliner capsule's propulsion system. It's like a galactic treasure hunt but with more helium and fewer pirates!
Rocket Science Recess
Mark Nappi of Boeing reassuringly states that the leak is not a 'safety of flight issue.' Phew! I always knew rocket scientists had nerves of steel or should I say nerves of rocket fuel?
Delayed but Not Denied
Just like my theory of relativity Starliner's crew debut has been delayed by years. But fear not dear space enthusiasts NASA and Boeing are determined to launch this bad boy...eventually!
The Leak the Launch and the Legend
NASA's Steve Stich boldly declares that they've 'flown vehicles with small helium leaks' before. Ah the sweet melodies of science where 'small leaks' are just another day at the intergalactic office.
To Infinity and Beyond...After the Leak Check
NASA Boeing and ULA are geared up for another review on May 29 to tackle the pesky leak issue. Soon the rocket and capsule will blast off to the launch pad for the June 1 attempt. Space travel where a leak is just a tiny bump on the way to the stars!
In Einstein's Words
Remember folks 'Everything should be made as simple as possible but not simpler.' Well unless you're dealing with a leaky spacecraft then just cross your fingers and hope for the best!
