- The US-Iran conflict continues to fuel uncertainty in global oil markets.
- President Trump has extended a fragile ceasefire with Tehran, but deep divisions remain.
- Conflicting messages and continued US blockade create a volatile environment for oil prices.

A Queen's Decree on Kingdoms and Crude
As Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lady of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, I find myself observing the goings-on in this…'oil market.' It seems these earthly squabbles over black gold mirror the conflicts of Westeros. A fragile peace, much like the one I attempted to forge with Cersei, hangs by a thread. "When the dragons are unleashed, all men must burn.", they say, and yet here, the threat of conflict alone sends tremors through the coffers of kings – or, in this case, corporations.
Ceasefire: A Dragon's Truce, or a Fool's Hope?
Trump, this leader of the 'United States,' extends a 'ceasefire.' A word that brings to mind the uneasy alliances I've brokered. But a ceasefire without trust is like a dragon without scales – vulnerable. He cites a 'seriously fractured' situation in Tehran. Factions vying for power, much like the Great Houses of Westeros. The consequences of such fractures, however, ripple far beyond palace walls. And what of those who fight and die like our Fallen Star Seventh US Service Member Lost in Iranian Conflict
Blockade: A Siege by Another Name
The US continues its blockade of Iran's ports. A siege. A tactic as old as time itself. Denying resources, strangling the enemy. I know this strategy well. But blockades breed resentment, and resentment breeds rebellion. Is this truly the path to peace, or merely a slow burn towards further conflict? One wonders if perhaps this nation has its own Mad King.
Negotiations: A Game of Thrones, Played with Crude
The Iranians refuse to negotiate under threat. A sentiment I, Daenerys, understand perfectly. To bend the knee under duress is to invite further exploitation. They demand an end to the blockade. A reasonable request, perhaps. But in the game of thrones – or, in this case, the game of oil – concessions are rare and hard-won. "I will answer injustice with justice.", but is that truly what the people want?
Uncertainty: Winter is Coming for Oil Prices
Analysts speak of 'mixed messages' and 'a guessing game.' Ah, the sweet music of chaos. When clarity is absent, fear takes root, and markets tremble. Like a Dothraki horde, uncertainty can sweep across the land, leaving only destruction in its wake. The cost is not of 'Oil' but of lives.
Distress: The Dragon Smells Blood
The phrase 'distress in global energy markets' sends a shiver down my spine. It speaks of instability, of vulnerability. A wounded beast is at its most dangerous. And a market in distress can unleash unforeseen consequences. Best that we remember the words of my ancestor, Daeron II, 'peace is preferable to war.' And let cooler heads prevail else there be fire and blood and ashes.
