By removing that pesky sentence from the missive, Warsh could rally the troops around a common goal of preserving optionality. Which basically means doing nothing. Classic politician stuff. This would bring the committee in line to a common objective. It would be better than what they have going on now. Trust me, I know a thing or two about plotting courses. President Trump wants lower interest rates. Shocker! The real question is: will Warsh cave to the pressure? Remember what happened to Jerome Powell? Sure, they'll chase it for a while, but they'll never actually catch it. Those familiar with Warsh say he's up for the job. We shall see.
