Excellent News, Smithers I'm Still Relevant
As if my vast fortune wasn't enough, it appears my keen eye for innovation remains sharper than a new dollar bill. Word on the street, or rather, in the hallowed halls of that HumanX conference – filled with more buzzing than my power plant's reactor core – is that Anthropic's Claude Code has become the belle of the ball. Apparently OpenAI, that once-promising upstart, has lost its luster. Excellent. Let them fade into obscurity like so many of my failed nuclear initiatives.
Claude Code My New Best Friend
This Claude Code, it seems, is quite the marvel. Generating, editing, and reviewing code – tasks previously relegated to legions of underpaid programmers. Why, it's almost as efficient as those worker bees I once envisioned controlling my entire empire. According to reports, this Claude has inspired 'Claude Mania,' and business leaders are tripping over themselves to deploy it. It appears even my own Springfield Nuclear Power Plant will benefit from this development. I wonder if it can finally solve the mystery of why that blasted canary keeps keeling over in Sector 7G. As the article mentions, there is the Stagflation Scare Oil Hits $100 Amidst Economic Unease which may impact the business climate in general and our nuclear plant. I will have to keep an eye on that.
The Pentagon's Loss My Gain
Ah, the sweet taste of schadenfreude. Apparently, Anthropic had a little tiff with the Pentagon. Blacklisted, were they? Foolish bureaucrats. While they squabble over contracts and rulings, I'll be quietly reaping the rewards of their innovation. This Claude Mythos Preview, with its advanced cybersecurity capabilities, sounds particularly promising. Perhaps it can finally secure my vast digital archives from those meddling do-gooders at the EPA. I will unleash the hounds if they ever come for me.
Change is Inevitable (Except My Reign)
This talk of 'AI change management' is rather amusing. Even those Silicon Valley startups are struggling to keep pace. Ha. I, on the other hand, have adapted to every technological advancement since the dawn of the industrial age. Granted, some of my methods have been… unconventional. But the point remains I am eternal. These young whipper snappers are getting anxiety inducing over the proliferation of new AI tools? Back in my days you just hired 10 more guys and moved on.
China The Yellow Peril...or Opportunity
China's open-weight models dominating industry benchmarks? A worrying development, indeed. But fear not, my loyal shareholders. I have always believed in keeping one's friends close, and one's enemies closer… and perhaps acquiring their technology through… mutually beneficial arrangements. The point is, even these upstart AI companies are reliant on these Chinese open-weight models and this means we need to adapt.
Excellent I Will Invest Heavily
Ultimately, the future belongs to those who control the machines and those who use them most efficiently. Anthropic seems to be poised to usher in this new era. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a meeting with my financial advisors to discuss acquiring a controlling stake in this… Anthropic. Excellent.
