Tensions escalate as Iran threatens attacks on US tech companies in the Middle East following US-Israeli strikes.
  • Iran's Revolutionary Guard threatens attacks on U.S. tech companies in the Middle East.
  • Eighteen companies including Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft named as potential targets.
  • Threats made in retaliation for U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian assets.
  • Concerns raised about data centres and cloud platforms becoming future targets.

A Spot of Trouble in Tehran

Right, so I was reading the newspaper – not that I can *always* understand it, mind you. But it seems those chaps in Iran are a bit cross. They’re threatening to throw a spanner in the works for some of those fancy computer companies. Apple, Google, even those Tesla fellas with the electric cars, and I thought, 'Blimey, that's a bit strong isn't it?' It's like when Teddy gets his head stuck in a bucket – utter chaos. They are calling it retaliation. Sounds nasty. I do hope they don't start aiming at kettles, because a good cuppa is essential.

Targets Everywhere Like the Christmas Turkey

Apparently, these chaps are threatening eighteen companies in total. They’re calling them 'legitimate targets'. I wonder if they have a dartboard with company logos on it. Makes me think of that time I tried to paint my flat and ended up with more paint on Mrs. Wicket's cat than the walls. Now, some bloke called James Henderson from Healix says this isn't just a one-off. He reckons data centres and cloud platforms are just as likely to get it as strategic sites. Sounds a bit like when I tried to rewire the Christmas lights – a recipe for disaster. It might be prudent to consider what happens when Trump's Energy Warning Sparks Global Chaos.

Dodging Drones and Disasters

Remember that time I tried to cook Christmas dinner in my hat? Well, this is a bit more serious. They reckon more than 3,000 drones and missiles have already been fired since this conflict started. That's a lot of bangs. And they apparently hit some Amazon data centers in March. Now that's not very nice. I am a genius, and I would never intentionally cause harm. It's like when I accidentally super-glued my trousers to the chair. Just a bit of unintended consequences!

Companies on Edge

Now, all these big companies are getting a bit twitchy. I can’t blame them. Apparently, Microsoft and Google are keeping schtum – that means quiet, for those playing at home. But Intel said they are looking after their workers, which is a good thing. It is only common decency, like when I share my biscuits with Teddy – mostly. After all, 'Manners maketh man,' as they say, even if I don't always remember mine.

Trump's Two Week Promise

President Trump, he’s been saying that he expects American forces to leave Iran soon. 'Two or three weeks,' he says. Makes you think, doesn’t it? It reminds me of when I tried to fix my Mini. 'Just a quick job,' I thought. Three weeks later, it was still in bits. I hope this situation doesn't end up the same way.

The Price of Peace

Unfortunately, this conflict has had a terrible cost. Lots of people have been hurt. I do hope they can all sort things out soon. It all makes you wonder what it's all about, really. All this trouble and strife. It reminds me of that time I tried to make a sandwich. Seemed simple enough, but it ended up with jam everywhere and a very sticky Teddy. Sometimes, the simplest things are the hardest, aren’t they? And perhaps peace is the simplest, and hardest, thing of all.
