Thomas Mazloum, the newly appointed Chairman of Disney Experiences, ready to navigate the galaxy of Disney's themed adventures.
  • Thomas Mazloum steps into the role of Chairman for Disney Experiences, succeeding Josh D'Amaro.
  • Mazloum brings extensive experience from Disney parks, cruise lines, and the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Leadership changes also include Jill Estorino as President of Disneyland Resort, and Tasia Filippatos as President of Disney Parks International.
  • Lisa Baldzicki will assume the role of President of Disney Consumer Products, completing the leadership shuffle.

A New Mandalore Takes Command

This is the Way. Word on the Outer Rim is that Disney's got a new leader at the helm of their whole experiences division. Seems one Josh D'Amaro is moving up the ranks to CEO, which means someone's gotta take charge of the theme parks, cruises, and all that shiny merchandise. Enter Thomas Mazloum, sounds like a capable sort, with a history in the hospitality biz. I reckon if he can wrangle a horde of tourists like I wrangle bounties, he'll do just fine. It's a tough galaxy out there, even for Disney.

From Cruise Ships to the Magic Kingdom

Mazloum's been around the block, or rather, around the galaxy of Disney. Started on the cruise lines, then moved to EPCOT. Took a detour with some fancy space yachts, then came back to oversee the hotels and that bustling market in Disney Springs. Now he's in charge of it all. Disney is like the Razor Crest, always needing upgrades and repairs. And if the parts are missing, you need to get them. Speaking of which, you may find interesting content about toy manufactures in this article Toy Titans Clash Hasbro's Magic Outshines Mattel's Barbie. He's got plans to double the size of the Disney fleet by 2031, so hopefully, he knows how to handle a hyperspace jump.

Disneyland Gets a New Sheriff

With Mazloum moving on up, someone's gotta keep the peace in Disneyland. That's where Jill Estorino comes in. Thirty-five years with the Mouse, she knows the lay of the land. Hope she's ready for the long lines and the occasional droid malfunction. 'I can bring you in warm, or I can bring you in cold,' seems appropriate here.

Global Domination: Disney Expands

Tasia Filippatos is now in charge of all the Disney parks outside the U.S. That's a lot of territory to cover. She used to run the consumer products division, so she knows how to sell a Wookiee doll or two. The Force is strong with this one, let's hope she uses it wisely.

Merchandise Mastermind

Speaking of consumer products, Lisa Baldzicki is taking over that side of the business. She's been in product development, so she knows what sells. I bet she could even convince a Jawa to part with its credits. 'This is the way' of consumerism, I suppose.

This is the Way...to Higher Profits

All these changes happen on March 18th. Seems like Disney's reshuffling the deck, trying to keep things fresh and exciting. Let's hope these new leaders can keep the magic alive, and maybe even find a Beskar steel helmet in the process. After all, everyone needs good armor in this business.
