  • Trump threatens to fire Jerome Powell if he doesn't leave after his term as chair.

  • Trump nominates Kevin Warsh as Powell's successor and pushes for lower interest rates.
  • Senate holds up Warsh's nomination pending outcome of renovation probe.

A Very Stable Genius's Monetary Policy Musings

Let me tell you folks, nobody knows the Fed like I do. Nobody. Powell, he's a nice guy, probably, but he's been a disaster. A total disaster. The interest rates are too high, they're killing our economy. We need low rates, beautiful low rates, to make America great again. And frankly, if I have to fire him to get it done, I will. I've been very patient, very, very patient. But my patience is wearing thin. Very thin.

The Curious Case of the Fed's Renovation Fiasco

This renovation, folks, is a disgrace. A total embarrassment. Millions and millions of dollars, wasted on what? On incompetence, pure and simple. Or maybe something more sinister, something very, very corrupt. We have to find out. Jeanine Pirro, a fantastic woman, she's on the case. She tried to subpoena Powell, but the judge, probably a Democrat, blocked her. But we will win. We will expose the truth. This reminds me of some of the rulings we are seeing and the need to review what is going on with the Supreme Court Ruling Unleashes Tariff Refund Tsunami. We have the best people looking into all aspects of these things, many people are saying.

Warsh: The Right Man for the Job, Believe Me

Kevin Warsh, he's a winner. A true winner. He understands the economy, he understands rates, and he understands how to make deals. He'll lower those rates so fast, your head will spin. He's going to be fantastic, everyone agrees. But Senator Tillis, he's holding things up. He wants the probe finished first. Frankly, it's ridiculous. But we'll get it done. We always do.

Lisa Cook and the Mortgage Mystery

This Lisa Cook situation, it's very troubling. Very, very troubling. Accusations of mortgage improprieties, you can't just ignore that. We tried to replace her, but these things take time. The Supreme Court is involved, and we're waiting for a decision. But we're going to get to the bottom of it, believe me. We are going to have a truly fair and unbiased court system very soon. Nobody can deny it.

Uncontroversial Trump: A Paradoxical Reality

People say I'm controversial. Me? Uncontroversial. I just tell it like it is. Some people can't handle the truth, but that's their problem, not mine. I want to be uncontroversial, truly I do. But sometimes, you have to shake things up to get things done. You have to drain the swamp. And that's what I'm doing, folks. Draining the swamp, one tweet at a time.

Making America Great Again, One Rate Cut at a Time

So, let's recap: Powell is out, Warsh is in (eventually), rates are going down, the Fed renovation will be exposed, and Lisa Cook will be held accountable. It's all part of my plan to Make America Great Again. And believe me, we're doing a fantastic job. The best job. Everyone says so.
