The Swamp Strikes Back Another Beautiful Bill Blocked
Folks, let me tell you, this is unbelievable. We had a tremendous bill, the SAVE America Act, all about ensuring only legal citizens vote – a very simple concept, very fair. But, like always, the RINOs and the Democrats, they're sticking together to block it. John Thune, who I thought was a friend – maybe not so much anymore – says there aren't enough votes to touch the filibuster. Sad. Very sad. It's like I always say, 'Sometimes, by losing a battle on the outside, you win a war on the inside.' We will win this war.
Zombie Filibuster A Real Horror Show
This "zombie filibuster" – what a joke. Mike Lee, a fantastic senator, he gets it. He wants the old-fashioned filibuster, the one where you actually have to stand there and talk. Remember "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington"[CONTENT] Well, those days are gone, thanks to the swamp creatures. These people don't want to work; they just want to obstruct. They don't want to make America great again; they want to keep the country in the dumps. Speaking of great, you should see Japan's Political Sea Change Takaichi's Triumph and the LDPs' Supermajority, those are the kind of changes we need here.
Rand Paul The Libertarian Strikes Again
Rand Paul, he's a little different, but I like him. He says getting rid of the filibuster would lead to acrimony and rapid shifts. He thinks legislation takes away your liberty. Okay, Rand, that's your thing. But we need to secure our elections. As I always say, 'The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.' Sometimes you have to take action, folks. Sometimes you need to drain the swamp. Believe me.
Murkowski Sides With the Swamp A Betrayal
Lisa Murkowski. Always with the 'moderate' routine. She says the Constitution gives states the power over elections. She's wrong, folks, just wrong. We need federal control to stop the cheating, the fraud, the massive, massive fraud. You know it; I know it; everyone knows it. It's a disgrace. It is what it is, I guess.
Democrats Contradict Themselves Total Hypocrisy
These Democrats, they're a piece of work. Jared Golden, who voted for a similar bill last year, now says this one is different. He is saying it is "not even close to the same". They'll say anything to stop us from making our elections fair and secure. It's unbelievable the hypocrisy. It is all fake news, and you all know it.
We Will Win Elections Will Be Safe
This is just a setback, folks, a very temporary one. We will keep fighting for voter ID, for secure elections, for the integrity of our democracy. We will make America great again, and we will do it by ensuring only legal citizens vote. Believe me.
