Market Momentum Builds

Good heavens, what's this I see? The Nikkei, soaring to heights previously reserved for my personal blimp! A 5% jump, you say? Excellent, excellent. It seems even the Japanese recognize the superior intellect and business acumen emanating from yours truly, even if they are an ocean away. Such impressive gains, it almost makes me want to crack a smile… almost.

Trump's Gambit: Peace or Else

That blithering buffoon Trump is at it again, threatening Iran with, and I quote, "a much higher level" of bombing. Honestly, the man has all the subtlety of Smithers trying to flirt. Still, if it gets those oil prices down, I suppose I can tolerate his… eccentricities. Speaking of eccentricities, have you seen my latest electricity bill? Highway robbery, I say! In other news, much like the Democrats with their Epstein escapades, Trump is trying to play both sides. To understand that more fully please read this important piece Bondi Bites Back at Democrats Amid Epstein File Frenzy.

Sector Showstoppers

Basic materials, technology, and financials leading the charge? Predictable, really. It's always the same old song and dance. Still, a 13% surge for Softbank is nothing to sneeze at. Though, truth be told, I'd rather sneeze on Smithers. Much more satisfying.

Regional Roundup

Australia's up, South Korea's down, Hong Kong's jumping – it's all so dreadfully… chaotic. Can't these countries just decide to make me richer and be done with it? Honestly, the sheer inefficiency of it all is enough to make me grind my teeth. And you know how much I pay to keep these chompers in tip-top shape.

Oil Prices and Future Gazing

Oil above $95 a barrel? Bah! Highway robbery I say. Although, I suppose I do own a significant portion of the oil companies… Still, it's the principle of the thing! And what's this about U.S. stock futures being "little changed"? They should be soaring! I may need to have a word with these "futures" people. Remind me to add that to my to-do list, Smithers. Right after "fire someone."

US Market Momentum

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq hitting record highs? While the Dow Jones added 612.34 points, or 1.24%, to close at 49,910.59. As I always say, "the rich get richer." Though, in my case, it's more like "the richer get even richer." Excellent.
